I claw, hunger tearing me

Inside, an unchartered cave of organs

and saliva, frothing, boiling

I clamp my tongue, my mouth

spewing blood, and I swallow

gulp after gulp to quench

the thirst for him, stifling

Screams that sear my throat

Clouting my breaths

with delectable cruelty, my fitting verdict

to cast me in a ravine of self-pity

Submerged in murky red water

Fed by brackish magenta clouds

Droplets, fountains of plasma and iron

Mixed and churned

I see a river flow from my mouth

and watch the cascading foam strike

the dreaded current
