chipped teeth
a poem.

the complacent earth beneath my feet
tilted
and i, the ultimate rag-doll vessel of flesh
catapulted
flung
into the vertical dimension
the sun-baked wall of concrete and dust
i didn’t know i was an artist
behold my creation
an abstract smear of burnt rose red
and those teeth
spliced, jagged bits of tragic porcelain fragments
signing my name in the corner
